Pair of Top-5 Finishes for Putnam
Josh Putnam raced to a pair of Top-5 finishes over the weekend with the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Super Late Models.
The weekend opened on Friday night at Crossville (Tenn.) Speedway with a
Action shifted northwest on Saturday night to Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway) for a $10,053-to-win affair. Josh hit the ground running by setting fast time over the 26-car field with a 12.612-second lap around the 1/4-mile oval.
He went on to win his heat race to earn the pole position for the feature. He raced in the Top 5 throughout the feature before crossing the finish line in the fourth position behind Jadon Frame, Brian Shirley, and Carson Ferguson.
