Josh Putnam Battles at the Beach

Josh Putnam traveled south to Florida's Southern Raceway over the weekend for the Bash at the Beach. The XR Southern All Star Series event was slated as a doubleheader, but Friday's $3,000-to-win program fell victim to rain.

As a result the weekend was relegated to a single event on Saturday night. With $5,000 on the line, Josh started sixth on the grid for the feature. Unfortunately, mechanical issues would sideline him early to a 13th-place finish.
